My Extra School

The My School Ticino Extraschool service – My Extra School is open to all children from 3 years of age, whether attending the school or not, and guarantees a wide variety of activities that support and enrich the school’s educational and formative offer. The services includes: Pre-school (7.00-8.30 a.m.), Canteen service (11.45 a.m.-1.30 p.m.), After-school service (4.00-7.00 p.m., on Wednesdays 1.15-7.00 p.m.).

The service runs 49 weeks a year: it offers My Weeks during cantonal school holidays and My Summer Day Camp during the summer months.

My After Time

During the cantonal school year calendar, from Monday to Friday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. (Wednesdays from 1.15 p.m. to 7 p.m.), My School Ticino offers all children, whether enrolled at the School or coming from outside, a wide range of recreational and motor activities and courses designed specifically for their age. The proposals vary from year to year and range from courses in coding, art, psychomotor skills, theatre, dance, cross fit, karate, tennis, swimming,… fun is guaranteed!

My Weeks

During the cantonal school holiday weeks, My School Ticino offers families the opportunity to leave their child in a welcoming and stimulating environment, to the care of highly specialised staff throughout the day.

During My Weeks, the Pre-school My Child 3-6 and Primary school My Kid 6-10 also welcome children who usually attend other schools. The My Weeks are designed to encourage times and places for socialisation and free play. Seasonal and original themes are developed for each week to enhance times and spaces for exploration and discovery.

In cooperation with My Languages – Scuola di Lingue, courses to develop language skills are offered during the My Weeks for those who wish: a short and intensive course in which the children, divided by level, language and age, deepen their knowledge or approach the basics of their chosen language (English, French or German), through educational activities proposed in a fun and stimulating way.

My Summer Camp

During the summer months, My School Ticino offers all families living in the area the opportunity to enrol their children, aged 3 years and over, in My Summer Camp

My School Ticino’s Summer Camp offers leisure and sport activities (and much more, contact us for all the details) taking into account the children’s special needs, age and the offer of the surrounding area. The educators, the teachers and the staff of My School Ticino daily devote their energy with commitment and passion for the involvement and well-being of the children. As during the My Weeks, it is possible to attend language courses to develop language skills. A full-time bilingual Italian/English environment is of course guaranteed. There is a weekly frequency with the possibility of selecting the type of subscription desired.
