My Languages
My School Ticino is launching a new initiative for the whole region: from September 2019 in Castel San Pietro and from September 2021 in Lugano arrives My Languages – Scuola di Lingue.
In order to keep up the high excellent educational standards that My School Ticino is known for, My Languages – Scuola di Lingue adopts teaching methodologies studied and targeted by age, which are aimed at children from 3 years old, teenagers, adolescents, up to offering courses and lessons for adults.
The courses offered by My Languages – Scuola di Lingue are designed to start learning a new language, to perfect the knowledge of foreign languages, of which one already has notions at different levels, to support teenagers in their studies and adults in their professional and personal path. My Languages guarantees preparation for European Language Certificate exams: Cambridge for English, Delf/Dalf for French and Goethe for German. The school is also recognised as a Preparation Centre for English language Cambridge Exams. We also offer Italian language courses for foreigners.
My Languages – Scuola di Lingue collaborates with Elisabetta Mohwinckel as Director of Study. Elisabetta is the founder of L’albero di Momo, a language school founded in Como in 1998 and now established in the area. My Languages will adopt the Emotional Learning, Emotional Teaching® teaching methodology developed by Elisabetta for the 3-8 age children. You can find more details in the “methodology” section.

LA METODOLOGIA EMOTIONAL LEARNING, EMOTIONAL TEACHING ®
In collaboration with Elisabetta Mohwinckel, founder of L’albero di Momo, My Languages – Scuola di Lingue adopts the Emotional learning, Emotional teaching® methodology for the 3-8 age group.
The methodology Emotional learning, Emotional teaching® for pre-school and primary school children proposes to give children the space to create on their own or with their peers the skills of ‘knowing how and knowing how to communicate what’ in autonomy and serenity. The results of involved and engaging learning are innumerable and go far beyond language skills.
For other age groups and in teaching adults, My Languages – Scuola di Lingue relies on the professionalism of certified and experienced teachers who can guarantee students preparation for European certifications.
