In a heartfelt letter of thanks we received a few weeks ago, we learned that the 52 young people who took the exam as part of the activities related to the ‘Recupero licenza di IV media’ project run by Pro Juventute Svizzera italiana have successfully passed the exam to obtain the relevant certificate as private candidates.
This is a huge success for a project that the Medacta for Life Foundation has been supporting for several years now, together with the “Mentoring” project, which we reported on last spring.
Starting this year and for the next three years, Medacta for Life Foundation has decided to focus its support for Pro Juventute on the project to recover the IV Media licence. This eight-month educational programme (two months of which are dedicated to getting to know each individual participant and the group in depth) allows young people to rediscover the serenity and emotional balance they need to tackle the important challenge they are facing. Obtaining their diploma, backed by a renewed sense of personal stability, allows the young people involved to set their own goals, such as entering the world of work through an apprenticeship, while continuing to count on the support of Pro Juventute within the workplace.
We are deeply grateful to Pro Juventute for their significant work, which enables us to be present and provide support where it is truly needed, with the certainty and confirmation of tangible, measurable results, guaranteeing a better future for many young people.
