My School Ticino is pleased to invite you to the free educational meetings organized for parents, caregivers, and anyone interested. My School for Parents is open to everyone and is an opportunity to discuss topics related to education, training, best practices, and specific matters concerning childhood and development for age group 0-10. The initiative aims to share ideas and practices useful to the community, and increasingly develop a valuable educational cooperation.
The meeting on Nutrition 0-10 will be held ONLINE:
Saturday 26 October 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The following topics will be covered:
- the objectives of nutrition education
- nutrition education in the family and parental modelling
- the new WHO guidelines
- the balanced plate: macronutrients and micronutrients
- protein and childhood obesity
- portion sizes and seasonality of foods
- cooking methods
The conference will be led by Sabrina Antonini, long-time My Baby nursery educator, consultant specialised in nutrition as well as breastfeeding and IAIM certified (infant massage).
