My School Ticino is pleased to present the newly-launched initiative My School for Parents. We are resuming the good practice of educational meetings with a planned agenda. Our goal is to create a unified, strong, and distinct vision for our educational program for early childhood and up to 10 years of age.

These sessions are free of charge and open to all – parents, caregivers, and anyone interested. Led by our educators or external speakers, the meetings offer a space for reflection on topics related to education, training, best practices, and specific matters for age group 0-10. “Educational evenings” are more engaging, almost workshop-style meetings, while “Conferences” have a more formal tone, with a Q&A session.

The initiative aims to share ideas and practices useful to the community. By providing practical tools to address the challenges of education, we seek to develop a valuable educational cooperation, a cohesion of intentions and thoughts for a healthy and solid growth.

The topics covered during these sessions range from breastfeeding to nutrition in general, from specific Montessori aspects to bilingualism and learning non-native languages. We are finalizing the autumn schedule, and will share the planning as soon as it’s ready.

We believe that investing in your parenting is a precious gift for yourself and your children, as well as a path to becoming a more aware, capable, and ultimately happier parent (or caregiver).
